Carl is a proud credentialed Chaplain within Chaplains Collective and is currently serving as a chaplain in Kinston, North Carolina with the Police Department as a officer and family support Chaplain. His focus is giving high quality care in any situation the officer or family faces.

During baseball season, Carl is also the Team Chaplain for the Texas Ranger affiliate Down East Wood Ducks baseball team. Weeks in which the team has home stands, Carl meets with all players, coaches, and staff throughout the week. He also provides Baseball Chapel services for the Wood Ducks, the visiting teams, and umpires on given Sundays.
